Cleanup following deployment (FST)
The Fire Suppression Solutions FST v4 has a Lithium-Ion battery inside the handle, behind the battery hatch. Remove the battery before disposing the rest of the Fire Suppression Solutions FST v4.
The Fire Suppression Solutions FST v4, without the battery, can be disposed according to the normal disposal procedures for other fire related materials.
Cleanup following deployment (Aerosol Residue)
The aerosol leaves behind a layer of a powder like dust or film, it can be removed with a damp cloth, vacuum, or a broom and dustpan. If needed, wash the affected area thoroughly with water.
Cleanup following deployment (Fire Equipment)
Clean protective clothing and other firefighting equipment exposed to the aerosol in the normal manner.
Replacement
If you need assistance in submitting the cost of a replacement unit to insurance carriers contact us at support@firess.us. We can document the address of the fire incident as part of the description on the invoice for a replacement unit.
